1. Who we are

VALI (“VALI”, “we”, “us”) is a valet queue-management platform operated by Vali PORTAL, a sole establishment licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Trade Licence No. 1593518). Our website is valiportal.net and our dashboard is at login.valiportal.net. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it, whether you are a guest using a valet service at one of our client venues, or an operator/venue using the VALI dashboard or mobile app.

2. Data we collect

Guests (valet customers): mobile phone number, name (if provided), vehicle details such as plate number, make and colour, valet ticket number, timestamps of drop-off and vehicle requests, and the venue/branch you visited.

Operators and venue staff: name, work e-mail, mobile number, role, venue/branch assignment, and activity logs within the VALI app and dashboard.

Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and diagnostic/crash information needed to keep the service running.

We do not collect payment-card numbers. Any card payments to VALI by venues are processed by licensed third-party payment providers.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to: register and track valet tickets; send you WhatsApp or SMS notifications about your vehicle (for example “your car is ready”); let venue staff manage the queue; provide support; secure and improve the service; and comply with legal obligations. Venues may also, with your consent, send you marketing messages through VALI; you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.

4. WhatsApp and Meta

VALI sends notifications through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you interact with VALI on WhatsApp, your phone number and message content are processed by Meta under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. We only message you about a valet ticket you have opened, or with your consent. We never sell your WhatsApp data.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with: the venue/valet operator that is serving you (they are the controller of your valet ticket); service providers that host and run VALI (cloud hosting, messaging providers such as Meta/WhatsApp and SMS gateways, analytics and crash-reporting tools); and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. Data retention

Guest ticket data is kept for as long as needed to operate the service and for a reasonable period afterwards for dispute resolution and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Operator accounts are kept while the venue’s subscription is active and deleted on request after termination.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled servers. Access is limited to staff and venues that need it to provide the service.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where relevant, the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent to marketing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. To request deletion of your account and data from the VALI app, e-mail us with the subject line “Delete my data”.

9. Children

VALI is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at valiportal.net/privacy.
